Race Rules
- Personal Advertising may not clash with any of the following

- All surf ski’s to display 2 Discovery Logos and 2 Men’s Health Logos in front of the Pedals
- All Paddle blades to display PowerAde logos provided.
- Discovery Men’s Health Series paddling Rash Vests are mandatory for all paddlers.
- Paddlers to display correct CSA numbers on surf ski. Incorrect or incomplete numbers will result in disqualification from the race. Any Competitor who rides the wake of a motorised craft will be disqualified.
- Any competitor who receives physical support or assistance or who enters one of the rescue craft, will be disqualified, with the exception of those doing so to repair their craft.
- The Race Referee may decide whether a competitor should be prevented from continuing the race at any time. The Race Referees' decision will be final and by signing the entry form, you agree to abide by this rule.
- The safety mobile phone number for emergencies as well as for notifying the Race Referee of withdrawals is`Billy 082 654 654 2. The onus is on the competitor to notify the Race Referee of his/her withdrawal. The costs of any search resulting from a competitor not notifying the organisers of his or her withdrawal will be borne by the competitor. (A helicopter search can cost up to R 5 000,00 per hour.)
- Registration will be from 10H30 - 11h30 on race day. Starting times will be as follows: -
- 12h00 C + D-Grade Single Skis
- 12h15 A + B-Grade Single Skis
- 12h20 Double Skis
13. The finish will be between banners on the beach at Swartvlie Beach in Sedgefield
- Paddlers must cross the finish line with their Craft.
- Double Ski – Both competitors must be with the craft
